The theme of “Induced Energetic Draining” has been consistently discussed and addressed in past years, particularly to balance individuals highly sensitive to variations in environmental electromagnetic fields (environmental sensitivity).
Kinesiology has developed various methods to highlight electromagnetic imbalances in the human body: from the Cerebral Response Test of J. Barton’s Bio Kinesiology and W. Topping’s Wellness Kinesiology, to the 5-Finger Test by Elisabetta and Hap Barhydt (with its two modalities: electromagnetic and chemical sensitivity), and many other approaches, including switching or electrical confusion of varying degrees, or electromagnetic imbalance.
These testing modalities are often used to highlight a stress that must be put in a circuit and efventually balances. However, we frequently observe that other individuals do not respond to the these detection tests.
This report aims to stimulate curiosity among my kinesiologist collegues to explore the use of the 4 digital modes discovered by me, which open the door to this phenomenon and the opportunity to balance whit specific tecniques.
By using the 4 digitals modes, the muscle test has highlighted that calling. This phenome non Induced Energetic Draining, as a matter of fact, the right term to define this is Estragement From the Essential Self (EfES).
REPORT
Since I became acquainted with Kinesiology, I have always been fascinated by how easy it is to recharge anybody’s energy, regardless of the environment you live in.
When you are full of energy, your sensitivity to environmental energy variations increases.
This is often caused by the environment itself or by the nearby people. It is easy to identify those people or environments that ‘absorb energy’, point them out, and apply appropriate remedies to the perceived state of imbalance.
Many other people, who experience these environmental energy variations, are not really aware of them, others are indifferent to them, and continue their lives under the yoke of this burden or energetic weight.
Therefore, the theme of ‘Induced Energetic Draining ’ becomes predominant in a person’s life, except that in Kinesiology or in the muscle test response is recognised as the estrangement from the Essential Self (E.f.E.S.)
The symptoms my clients reported me are exctly the same off those describe by the authors of the Induced Energetic Draining .
Just to give an indication, these are the main ones:
Note – I will not delve into the topic of how this weight or burden influences our ordinary and extraordinary meridians or the Chakras and Auric Bodies, as it would take us off-topic. If you want to explore the topic further, I suggest reading the books proposed in the bibliography.
Who is the common victim?
Experts in this phenomenology and authors of books on this subject have identified the ‘ideal victim’. They have been able to trace four characteristics that a person must have to be a potential ‘drained’ individual.
People with these characteristics share a fixed mindset rather than a growth mindset (see Life Management seminar ‘Enriching your life with value’).
Their “fixed mindset” behavior is evident in these four steps:
The same characteristics stated are the basis of the different types of “personality traits” that are covered in the “Advanced Emotional Work” seminar.
The type of statements and/or beliefs that can reveal this tendency are of the type:
“I must be perfect” versus “It’s okay to make mistakes”
“I think I’m always right” versus “It’s okay to be wrong”
“I must have attention” versus “It’s okay to wait my turn”
“I must have contentment in my life” versus “I’m happy”
“I can’t put pressure when something is expected of me” versus “I step forward with my requests when something is expected of me”
We can use these statements to “drain” the stress that hides beneath, as we do in the ‘Success Over Distress’ seminar.
Who are the so-called “Drainers”?
Energy drainers are immature individuals, much like bullies, who, with their immaturity and social insecurity, drain time and energy from others. They are also people who take no responsibility or claim to, only to carefully avoid it through “procrastination” (see ‘Success Over Distress’).
Energy drainers are those who steal present time and space (Here & Now) through the techniques typical of time and space thieves (see ‘Temporal Shifts’).
They are people who constantly dredge up their past or ours, or make continuous predictions about our or their future, how it should have been, and what we didn’t do, etc.
They can be similar to those bosses or employers who fill our desks with paperwork, or force themselves to work in cramped spaces and overtime.
Often, we find these attitudes in cases of “Mobbing,” “Bossing,” or similar situations, remembering that those who carry out such strategies are almost always “energy drainers.”
Usually, these people have a highly selfish attitude, are poorly empathetic, and tend to establish their relationships thinking only of themselves.
Therefore, when we interact with such people, we have to face “Forced Choices,” which, according to a Barometric reading of One Brain, corresponds to:
‘No choice, I feel only Negative emotions’
In summary, these people “Are Selfish, Incapable, and Envious.”
What to do?
To understand what to do in these cases, muscle testing, as a Kinesiological language, has highlighted a more appropriate term to define this phenomenon. Instead of using the definition ” Induced Energetic Draining ,” it has chosen the definition of:
“Distancing from the Essential Self.”
This definition aims to indicate that, through seductive and manipulative techniques and modalities, these people are able to make us move away from our central core or from the pilot that guides our genetics towards self-realization.
Therefore, instead of following our path, recognizing those essential parts that we need to achieve our realization, we clog ourselves with many other useless things that energetically weigh down our path.
Other times, after this binge of useless and fake things, we even end up doing things that are not in our preferences, that is to say, that are completely unnatural for us.
It is we who give permission to these people to come into contact with our energetic essence through different levels. Without our permission, this form of deprivation or energetic heaviness would not exist.
In fact, what happens is that we are, concentrated on our interests, on what truly excites us, we lose the ‘Sirius star’ (consideration of ourselves) and we end up doing things that are not exactly in our essential interest and we do not know how we got there, or that we never thought we would have to do.
We feel tied, forced, suffocated, overwhelmed, confused, agitated, anxious and we do not know why and we cannot stop.
In summary, the more we consider ourselves, the fewer drainers we will have in our lives.
What happened (dynamics)?
It all begins when energy drainers engage us through one of our conflicts. In fact, they are individuals who immediately understand what kind of person they are dealing with, what their conflicts and frustrations are. They have a developed intrapersonal intelligence capable of extracting our cultural level, our social background, and the education with which we have developed.
The conflict they are able to provoke leads us to a battle that is part of our social or educational experience, internalized as a behavioral model in social relationships. They exercise the “power of the past,” that is, the power that our parents or authorities have exerted to force us to obey their wishes. This is why we spend the childhood rebelling against the abuses, obtaining only an “emotional defeat” in the battle between respect and love.
Not everyone is a victim, and not all victims remain so. Some have the ability to grow on the three sides of the wellness triangle, managing to immediately identify those who tend to drain them and step out of the victim role with “mature and wise communication.”
It is enough to highlight, publicly, the form and type of energy that the person is producing incorrectly, effectively unmasking the manipulation. Several times, these forms of energy input can cause other unsuspecting people to assume the role of drainer, forcing them into a ‘substitute’ role and masking the source person.
In order to escape the conflicts that can arise in family, friends, society, work, etc., we can always choose not to react and remain observing what happens, thus ‘choosing to’ let those negative emotions slide off us.
Remember that when such conflicts arise, we are preparing fertile ground for these drainers.
For some victims, we need to take a step back, and it is neccessary to balance them, in order to activate the understanding that through their actions and thoughts they are increasing their negative emotions.
Learning to accept that negativity exists, increase the understanding and awareness of how these emotions are harmful, damaging, and irritating to us. Then we need to broaden our view on how they can be harmful, damaging, and irritating to others, until we understand how they are to the drainer himself.
All this is not enough! We must go further and, remembering that we have the power of “choice” to behave advantageously for our own good, learn how to override the input of negative emotions with our constructive positive emotions (right side of the BEHAVIORAL BAROMETER).
This new attitude requires a surplus of integration, vitamins, or minerals (see “Nutrition in BK”) as it consumes much of our energy.
What we can suggest here, in addition to attending my seminars on drainers, is to begin to become sensitized to feeling the energy drain. Once perceived, we take a neutral position and breathe deeply, then resort to visualization techniques (Overcoming Stress, Stress Without Stress, Stress Release, etc.) or one of the other tips listed below to disperse stress and stay in tune with our soul.
The 4 Modalities
Kinesiological language has revealed that this “Distancing from the essential Self” occurs through 4 digital modalities:
From the most subtle and invisible to the most overt.
To understand how this happens, it is best to start with the overt ones and then move to the more subtle ones.
The Physical – Structural forms (playful manipulation or structural forms) and Biochemical – Nutritional forms (seductive – sexual verbal manipulation) are capable of inducing internal emotional states.
These stimuli that originate from within, even if they are induced from outside, can transform our monotonous lives into ones that make us feel more alive and adrenaline-fueled. Therefore, we do not realize that, by continuing on this path, we eventually find ourselves victims of manipulation (those indicated in parentheses), thus creating a dependence or codependence.
The Emotional forms (visual motivation cards – external manipulation of charm) and Electrical forms (coercive or punitive manipulation) have, respectively, the perverse charm of seduction and fear, and despite being evident, we can do nothing to avoid falling victim to them.
We must remember that these manipulations are what develop our inner conflicts.
The forms of Induced Energetic Draining that we can identify more easily, as they are the most well-known, are these last two, but we must not forget that they are the evolutions of the first ones.
The Emotional – Electrical forms do not exist if we have not undergone the Physical – Nutritional ones.
That’s why it’s of little use to work solely on the emotional – electrical aspects that become apparent, if we don’t immediately follow up by addressing the structural – nutritional ones in order to defuse stress and triggering factors.
For this reason, we will start with the Structural digital and then move on to the others.
Structural Digital
The first digital to use when we want to identify Induced Energetic Draining is the structural one, which in Professional Kinesiology Practice – PKP is suggested as a digital for ‘Forms of structure’.
It is performed by placing the index finger at the base of the thumb in position 7, where we find the insertion of the opponens pollicis muscle.
This method is proposed as an open digital by PKP even if a search, carried out internationally, usually indicates that there is the shape of some part of the person’s body (e.g. thighs, chest, nose, etc.) that needs to be balanced. On some occasions the method has been very specific in showing the shape of a varicose vein or the shape of the urethral sphincter.
In fact, in the rebalancing procedure I proposed, once the part of the person’s body to be balanced has been identified, it is rebalanced with the use of general archetypes and in particular using playing cards (Spanish, French, Neapolitan).
The Tarot cards have never been highlighted!!!!
The reason for this lies in the symbolism of playing cards, whose suits refer to the four Hippocratic elements (Air, Fire, Water, and Earth). In fact, we find the same properties and qualities element in the latest digital, the Electrical.
This type of digital emerged during a rebalancing with my colleague, Laura Di Lernia, while we were balancing a stressful period of my life that apparently was normal for me.
We used the number 4 of the French cards on my stomach and the result was amazing. I slept for 24 hours straight forced by a headache of a strange nature, as soon as I opened my eyes it increased in intensity, if I closed them it slowly disappeared and at the same time I fell asleep. After this balance it often happened to me to sleep continuously, especially after periods in which I used my energy intensely, especially in a work environment full of tension, anger, envy, jealousy, paranoia and other negative emotions. Over time I have associated this state of torpor with periods in which I gave myself a lot with my energy to others, to the Association, to my colleagues, etc.
Now I have a greater awareness of the involuntary manipulations that others exert on me to obtain work done by a serious competent professional.
In another case that I dealt with, it was evident how this technique served to counteract a phlegmatic type person who unloaded heavy energy and phlegm on my client while trying to be active.
Therefore, this digital seems to open the door to those events of Induced Energetic Draining, partly due to environments linked to gambling addiction, where that form of energy subtraction is practiced that we suffer when we frequent environments that are not able to create an ‘give/receive’ exchange.
It represents the first of the 4 digitals that I use to highlight Induced Energetic Draining in its various forms and manifestations.
When we talk about playing cards we actually fall into the stress of ‘ludism’ (if limited in time) or gambling addiction (‘gambling’ if it lasts for more than 12 months).
The saying: the game is the game is fun when it lasts a short time, finds its roots precisely in this case.
The addiction to gambling that upsets people’s lives falls within the area of pathological addictions and is characterized by the inability to resist the ‘persistent, recurrent and maladaptive’ temptation to gamble at various levels, even involving sums of money.
Often the desire to gamble is activated morbidly when it is preceded by a period of negative emotions, such as anxiety and depression. Therefore this addiction must be interpreted as an attempt to find an outlet from the pressure of these emotions or to seek the adventure and excitement that satisfies the inner void with increasingly high and adrenaline-pumping bets.
The persistence of this activity, even if in a playful and fun form, drains the person’s strength with the relative more direct consequences of the deterioration of personal, family and work activities, to the point of putting them at risk.
Addiction to gratification, the search for pleasure, impulsiveness in making decisions by underestimating the consequences, loss of control, the irrepressible need to seek the game, risk and tolerance are clear symptoms of abstinence of some kind.
In the case of the structural digital, as a defusion tool, it indicates the use of the power of numbers (see numerology and their meaning) represented by the cards.
Furthermore, the geometric arrangement of the various symbols, which are used here to strengthen the organs that are most under stress during periods of intense work or social activity, that is a source of negative stress, provides a framework with its energy.
Reminding what is reported in ‘Overcoming Stress’, the first organs that are sensitive and are affected by stress are the Stomach and Lungs which, if malfunctioning, lead to a drop in general energy and a greater vulnerability of our body and other parts or organs.
Personal Ecology Digital
The second digital is the one concerning the personal ecology, which I explored to verify if there was a correspondence between the digital aspects. It is performed by placing the middle finger at the base of the thumb in the same position as the previous one.
In this case, this digital aspect recalls a technique well-known in the field of kinesiology, which goes by the name:
‘Power of the Word’.
We are talking about that form of nourishment which is the listening and communication of words of power, mixed with the unconscious potential of non-verbal language made of gestures that are able to evoke, in a silent and subtle way, emotions and desires hidden by our unconscious.
In this case, it is a wrong nourishment that the person is choosing, most likely induced unintentionally or intentionally by another person who assumes the role of a drainer.
It is the use of symbolism and induced hypnosis, as a consequence of a subliminal message that acts on the unconscious through gestures and verbal predicates.
Freud also considered the symbolism of gestures as an indirect representation of archetypal symbols that resonate with our meridians and related associated tissues (muscles, fascia, organs, etc.).
Symbols, according to Freud, therefore attempt to manifest themselves in dreams but, due to the activity of censorship, the manifest content is not equal to the latent content and therefore it is necessary to interpret the symbolism to trace the meaning of the dream and the symbols and/or hypnotic messages that generated it.
After him, many other authors studied symbolism, highlighting its multiple aspects and its universality.
This type of language is found in people who are polished in their exposition and who fill their sentences with symbolism that refers to archetypes (penetrating, welcoming, etc.), the use of Latin or Greek affirmations, myths and legends, etc.
There are positive uses, such as theater, songs, entertainment in general, and negative uses, such as politicians, company managers, directors of large companies. All these subjects are trained in the use of this power.
In any case, it is still a matter of Induced Energetic Draining.
The archetypal symbols indicated by the test refer to the three polarities: Masculine, Feminine, and Neutral.
It has been established that these archetypal symbols are geometric figures, derived from the first level, from which all the reality that surrounds us is composed by, and are associated with the three pillars studied in the Kabbalah.
They have an influence and impact on our behavior, so much that they condition our responses and reactions. The sound and visual inputs that characterize these three archetypes have their own language and history, bypassing the state of conscious control and reaching our inner consciousness, insinuating themselves and activating our ‘Personality Traits’ (belief systems) until they make them real with the emotional states or sensations they evoke.
Therefore, they exert a decisional power over us based on energy states conditioned or imprinted by family, society, friendship groups, age (see factors that induce a limiting belief).
We find their indiscriminate use every day, in seductive information or in manipulative programs on television, radio, cinema, in the press and newspapers.
The body, as well as behavior, is also influenced by these archetypal symbols, which is why we can evaluate it with the precision muscle test in order to identify the experienced emotional characteristic of the person.
This level opens the way to the next level: emotional seduction.
Emotional Digital
The third digital aspect is the emotional one, which in One Brain goes by the name of ‘Visual Motivation Cards’ and is performed with the ring finger in the same position as the previous ones. Further information can be found in the Touch For Health International Journal of 1989.
Very often, this type of Induced Energetic Draining occurs both naturally and artificially, because every day we are subjected to a process of seduction that tends to distance us from the path of our soul. The line of unforgettable sunsets, the forms of statues that celebrate bodily perfection, the curves of hill paintings, and other works of art that keep people breathless.
Similarly, especially through Facebook or Instagram, we receive continuous solicitations to bodily perfection or the overexposure of it with feminine curves or figures that have a sculpted physique profile.
The stress elicited by these stimuli tends to ‘Barometer our Behaviors’, which is why the intuition of Candace Callaway (1949-2005), with the application of the behavioral genetics of Daniel Whiteside (1933-2013) and the skillful use of muscle testing by Gordon Stokes (1929-2006), included the use of ‘Visual Motivation Cards’ in their path.
This work originates from the studies of the scientist, inventor, and musician Dr. Manfred Clynes (born August 14, 1925). Known for having interpreted, through a systematic study, how music can impact biological systems and neurophysiology. He was able to identify how some musical pieces were able to evoke 10 sequential emotional states (see image on the side). These can be transmitted through the tone of voice, gestures, and facial movements.
The ten emotional states produced are: love, sorrow, joy, anger, hate, laughter, sexual excitement, reverence, fear, hope.
Eight of these types of emotions, ordered in another sequence (love, joy, hate, anger, sorrow, sexuality, no emotion, veneration) are used for another technique in Kinesiology with the name of ‘sentic cycle’, which is always part of the techniques classified in the emotional digital (see PKP).
These lines have been used in the field of Kinesiology, and in particular by the One Brain discipline, which after experimentation has verified the power of 12 of these forms that are able to evoke as many as 12 specific emotional states.
These lines are able to avoid that area of the brain destined for the filtration and selection of messages that arrive from the environment through a group of neurons that form the area of the Common Integrative Area (ACI). I do not address in this report how the 12 lines are linked to the six primary emotions that are connected to the three primordial forces (wisdom – love, will – awareness, intelligence – wisdom).
Remember that Traditional Chinese Culture had identified eleven passions that can lead to the imbalance of Chi.
So we can be captivated or amazed by the emotional inputs emanating from those people skilled with their emotional intelligence, and in the same way we are when we observe these undulating segments.
We react emotionally to them, and in doing so, we create an alteration in our body, varying breathing, heart rate, and physical movements or stillness.
These wave-like forms bypass our conscious control (Common Integrative Area) and penetrate deeply, communicating directly with the awareness of the body’s cells, consequently activating metabolic processes outside our ordinary metabolic course, causing reactions discordant with our genetic heritage.
These visual inputs, with their language and history, bypass the state of consciousness, insinuating themselves into our ‘Personality Traits’ (belief systems), activating them and making them real with the emotional states they evoke.
Thus, they exert influence on us, activating a decision-making power based on energy states conditioned or imprinted by family, society, friendship groups, age. However, if properly managed, it allows us to identify the main phases of ‘Induced Energetic Draining’.
We add a further piece to this information, what in One Brain is called the muscle circuit, an alternating sequence of muscles, which are connected with the typical survival themes at the base of Maslow’s pyramid: ‘Male/Female, Nourishment, seduction, servility (indifference), revenge (adversary), only to arrive at truth and love’.
Electrical digital
The fourth and final digital technique is the electrical one, although it was the first I developed in my work about ‘Induced Energetic Draining’.
It is performed by placing the little finger at the base of the thumb in the position of the previous digital techniques.
As I said, the actual research work started from this digital technique, which led me straight to discovering the value of the energy points of the meridians called ‘windows of the sky’ and the potential of the distinct meridians.
The ‘Distinct Meridians or Jing Bei’ are also called ‘The six unions and six divisions’ as they are the six pairs (Yin/Yang) of meridians (Liver/Gallbladder; Kidney/Bladder; Spleen/Stomach; Heart/Small Intestine; Lung/Large Intestine; Pericardium/Triple Heater).
These have an important role on the psyche because they start from the sea points of the Ancient Shu great articulations (knees and elbows) and, all passing through the Heart, they reunite (collecting the Shen) and only the Yang ones reach the head (elaboration).
These distinct meridians have their own path that goes first outwards and then inwards, they pair up according to their element (see above) and all converge and pass through the Heart where they take the ‘Shen’ of their element (mental-spiritual aspect of the elements Wood, Imperial Fire, Ministerial Fire, Earth, Metal and Water).
Then they continue their internal path and emerge at a point located near the neck, called precisely ‘window of the Sky’ (attack point of ‘drainers’) or ‘Barrier Points’ (V 10, Vb 20, TR 17, IT 17, St 9, IC 18, as shown in the figure).
It is assumed that both Yang and Yin arrive at the barrier points, carrying the Psychic energy of that quality, Hun for wood, Zhi for water, Po for metal, Yin for earth and Shen for Fires. Other authors maintain that only Yang rises.
They all gather at point TW 16, which I used as an indicator of imbalance, and then head to the head and brain, penetrating deeply and carrying the specific message of the Shen coming from the heart.
It is hypothesized that in the Heart the 6 (elements) reunite into Unity, while in the Head the same 6 are divided for Logic.
For other authors they govern the rhythmic and structural relationships with the inside of the trunk, heart and head and are rhymed by the laws of the 4 elements, by the transverse LUO.
It is no coincidence that various cultures use to protect this delicate area of the body with metals such as gold which has a repelling action of energy.
The Etruscans use amber for its protective powers, and so on for the various populations of the earth who adopted metals and stones, let’s say, ornamental for the protective purposes of the heart and mind.
Even now, gold necklaces are used, as a custom to protect the neck, perhaps because, as the Chinese hypothesize, these meridians carry the defensive energy, ‘Wei’ inside the deep tissues to balance them in case of aggressions of the type:
It is evident that a confused state of these meridians leads, spontaneously, to what are the symptoms reported so far and their related consequences.
Through the window points we can establish if the act of Induced Energetic Draining is charged to a single person or there are several people who perform the same strategy.
Sometimes different manipulative strategies overlap that tend to add up to each other, so it is always necessary to find the priority and then, once balanced with the technique, return to check the remaining drainers.
The Ho points, of the large articulations, help us to understand which side of the meridian has been hit in a Hyper and Hypo state, in its ‘psychic’ energy and the relative activation of the ‘wound’ of the element (see 5 wounds).
This subtle energy attack occurs because, if we look into the soul of each of us, according to Chinese medicine, we will find demons, tigers and dragons that are the symbolic representation of inner access keys.
The Chinese speak of the 13 demons, the 3 tigers and the 7 dragons.
Each of these figures has its symbolism.
We can define the 13 demons as that part, strong or weak, that refers to the symbolism of 4, the 4 levels, the 4 elements, the 4 fundamental virtues, and so on up to the 4 triangles of the ‘meridian wheel’ (see structural digital).
Demons attack tigers through physical or emotional or mental manipulations. These manipulations have their strength in the 6 primary emotions that hook the 11 passions with which we are involved (see Paul Ekman, on facial expressions or the course ‘The word: an inner journey’).
The tigers, which are attacked by demons, have an explicit relationship to the 3 forces expressed by the Cabala, the 3 theological virtues, which refer to the 3 squares of the wheel (see nutritional digital).
The dragons, which are those figures that are able to fight and eliminate demons, which will be ‘ridden’, refer to the 7 virtues and/or sins and/or works and so on to get to the 7 Yin/Yang pairs of active meridians in the body and ending with the 7 groups of Bach flowers (see the book ‘For Bach: a new life experience’ by the author published by Etimpresa).
Conclusion
With all these solicitations, maintaining balance becomes truly difficult, which is why many prefer to control their surrounding world through hikikomori syndrome (withdrawing, isolating oneself), not to mention those who end up in Stockholm syndrome (following repeated abuse, see stimuli, nurturing positive feelings towards one’s abuser that can range from solidarity to falling in love, in this case referring to the drainer).
These techniques help us return to our center and inner peace, clarifying what is natural versus what is seductive and manipulative.
Learning the use of these digitals, which open the door to such topics, and the underlying mechanism that supports this energy imbalance, allows our clients to quickly and consistently recover their energy.
Stimulating curiosity to attend the 4 training seminars on these digitals (one seminar for each digital) and learning directly from both my research and knowledge from One Brain, Kabbalah, Numerology, Symbolism, and Chirology is one of the reasons that led me to present this relationship between my various completed research projects.
The whole becomes a stimulating growth and professional training path that helps us increase the therapist’s protective shield against these very invasive and deviant energies, while helping our clients better cope with the daily routine of work, family, and social relationships.
